You will join a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions for a prominent player in the rail industry. This company specializes in railway infrastructure projects, contributing to the efficiency and safety of rail networks.

Within this role you will:

• Define and implement solutions for collecting, storing, transforming, and delivering data on the Azure platform, utilizing services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, etc.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, Python scripts, Spark notebooks, and ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Analysis Services.
• Participate in the design and documentation of data architectures, data models, and data flows.
• Ensure compliance with best practices, security, and data confidentiality standards.

Jouw profiel

If you have the following skills, you are THE person we are looking for:

• Proficiency in Azure Data components (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services).
• Expertise in Microsoft BI suite (SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server).
• Experience with Databricks and data modeling (Star Schema, Data Vault).
• Strong command of Structured Query Language (T-SQL).
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
