Cloud Platform Solution Engineer

Joining the Cloud Platform Solution Flow Team within our Cloud Infrastructure department as a Solution Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in extending our IT Infrastructure. Working alongside your peers, you'll design and coordinate the development of new IT solutions to meet the needs of our internal customers. As a key member of the squad, you'll be involved in a wide range of implementations using various technologies, ensuring seamless connectivity and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

On a daily basis you will:

• Act as a liaison between the Flow Team/Cluster and internal & external customers/stakeholders
• Develop data movement strategies for migrating/transferring data across different database sources
• Translate business demands into cost-efficient IT solutions using standardized elements
• Provide budget estimates for the requested Cloud Infrastructure scope of work
• Create work breakdowns reflecting relevant Cloud Infrastructure services to be delivered

Jouw profiel

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and translate business requirements into actionable initiatives
• Experience in designing, implementing, and utilizing data movement and database systems, including relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Postgres
• Strong problem-solving mindset, finding solutions within our capabilities while addressing customer demands
• Experience with working in an Agile environment
• Language: Proficient in English
