Linux System Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled Linux System Engineer to join our team. Within this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our infrastructure to support a diverse range of projects and will work with a multidisciplinary team.

Some key components of your job:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems across various distributions
• Develop and implement scripts for automation and system management tasks
• Manage virtualized environments
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external clients

Jouw profiel

We are looking for System Engineers who possess the following:

• A very good knowledge of Linux operating systems (CentOS - Redhat)
• A very good knowledge of VMware, vSphere, vCenter, vMotion
• A good knowledge of scripting languages like Bash and Python
• Knowledge of network management: router - switch - VPN - firewall
• Good, communication skills in Dutch,French and English.
