Facility Manager

We are looking for a Facily Manager to join our team in Luxembourg


  • Support the Head of Unit and the Contract Managers in the development and implementation of the operating procedures and processes for service contracts and manage initiatives and projects relevant to own domain;
  • Elaborate feasibility studies in relation to new or changing business requirements, entailing changes in the scope of the service packages;
  • Provide advice and recommendations in order to improve services activities within the Unit and implement best practices;
  • Contribute towards the efficient communication of BLD/Unit’s activities to customers, partners and other stakeholders;
  • Coordinate external service providers and actively promote teamwork and collaboration within the Unit and other services to ensure efficient delivery of the service contracts;
  • Design efficient processes and procedures to ensure reliability and quality of services and proactively work on streamlining processes linked to the services contracts, including evaluating feedback and user requirements related to own area of activity;
  • Proactively and continuously assess contractual performance to maintain value for money throughout the contract life cycle and establishing relevant actions or processes for improvements.


  • University degree in a relevant field, like architecture, engineering, facilities management, hospitality management 
  • At least 5 years’ relevant professional experience in facilities management with an emphasis on service contract and end-user communication 
  • Proven knowledge in facilities management and/or outsourced services management, preferably in hospitality (catering, cleaning) and service desk 
  • Proven ability to ensure a sound cost management of service contracts
  • Understanding of administrative procedures related to the management of service contracts and call for tenders in public institutions
  • Ability to draft comprehensive Terms of References for service contracts and to draft notes and reports for management decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command of English and French
